All of their classes are designed to teach children essential life and practical skills.
The Sew a Little Love Bug Mental Health Awareness Campaign was developed as a way to help the sewing world sew products for a great cause and to help children receive a handmade comfort toy to help those struggling with mental health issues, know that someone out there cares. To participate in the Sew a Little Love Bug campaign, sewers can pick up a love bug pattern at Threaded Lines or download it at www.threadedlines.com.

BEAR is a non-profit organization that provides emergency items as well as various resources to abused and neglected children in the Greater Houston Area. BEAR’s various programs serve children, age newborn–17 years, under the care of Child Protective Services (CPS). Many of the children removed from their homes are removed under emergency conditions; often shoeless, sometimes even clothes-less, and wearing only soiled diapers.
It has been such a difficult year for children all over the world with schools and activities cancelled because of the COVID pandemic. Their mental health has been tested and Love Bugs might just become the only Bug they want to catch. Moda Fabrics, the Creativity Shell and Threaded Lines are hoping to encourage everyone that sews (or wants to learn to sew) across the country to make and donate at least 1 Million Love Bugs during the month of May.
