Beginner Quilting Class with Candis Kennard

Beginner Quilting Class - 3 Saturdays - 1 per month starting in February, 2025

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a quilt but were afraid it was too hard? Come join us for a course that will teach you terminology, picking fabrics, cutting skills, sewing skills, binding skills, how to breakdown a pattern into manageable pieces, and tips and tricks to make your quilting life easier.

The class will meet the third Saturday for 3 months beginning February 22, 2025.

Our first class, February 22, 2025, will teach terminology, picking fabrics, and the basic
skills of cutting and piecing blocks. We will start with a very simple block and then build
on that skill.

Class 2 on March 22, 2025 will tackle more blocks.

Class 3 will be on April 26, 2025 is put it all together day! By this time, we will have 16
blocks made. We will learn several ways to on how to put them together. Then you get to
have it YOUR way!
